Las Vegas is one of the most popular destinations in the United States. It is the #1 destination with regards to tradeshows and business travel. Over the past decade it has also become famous for Pool Party Season and some of the best nightclubs in the country. Everyone who goes to Vegas wants to be treated like a King and feel like they have a special deal.
Perhaps no other hotel and casino has marketed the pool party and night club phenomenon better than the Palms . They were pioneers in the pool party craze. They also were ahead of the curve when it came to returning an emphasis on partying, clubbing, etc. rather than gambling. Our objective in working with the Palms was to build this brand and create awareness across the country.
Along with online marketing we also worked with the Palms on a Guerilla marketing campaign that targeted music festivals, outdoor festivals, and different large scale “happenings” across the country. We collaborated with 9 group and Palms Casino. Our teams would invade these festivals and happenings and spread information about different events the 9Group/Palms was hosting. Collateral on Pool Party’s at the Palms famous Pool Party, along with a schedule of top level musical performers for the summer accompanied branded SWAG like Tshirts and hats. All were distributed to the masses, 20K+ pieces per festival. We averaged one to two festivals per month.
In the end, The Palms Hotel and Casino saw record attendance at a time when other Vegas resorts were seeing a significant decline. We worked on this account for 3 years and in that time no other pool party or nightclub saw levels of attendance like the Palms.
